Rimrock Resort Hotel Review / July 2022

First and foremost, Rimrock Resort  is a wonderful hotel perched on the side of Sulphur Mountain ; only 5 minutes walking distance to the Gondola and 7 minutes driving time to the town of Banff.  We reserved Room 456 , the “Family Executive, 2 King Guestroom “  able to accommodate the five of us. It has two large King size beds, a stylish large sofa bed and spacious bathroom. The layout of this  roomy space ( 400 sq ft )  is perfectly designed to accommodate up to six people, if needed.   Our family consisted of 3 Adults and 2 children; ample room for everyone. Featuring 2 TV’s , a coffee table w/ a Keurig Coffee maker and complimentary coffee pods. It also had a mini fridge to store your own beverages.  Surprisingly, the partial view of the outside courtyard is welcoming.  Initially the room description said it was obstructed, however we found the view not bad at all.  The outside courtyard on the third floor below us is a super nice retreat anytime of the day.  The third floor also

This is the true natural way to visit Minnewanka. Not only do you get to enjoy a nice leisure boat ride, you’ll possibly see more wildlife then we saw by car. In fact, we only saw one Big Horn Sheep during our road trip. Strange enough, Minnewanka is supposed to be the best place to encounter wildlife, from wolves, grizzlies to Elk.  According to archeologis
